Description
Private institutions of higher education benefits consortium. Authorizes five or more private educational institutions to form a benefits consortium for the purpose of establishing a self-funded employee welfare benefit plan. The benefits consortium will be a nonstock corporation that will operate a benefits plan that will be governed by and be subject to the provisions of the federal Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974.
