Description
Child custody and visitation; parenting plans. Requires preparation of parenting plans in any actions involving custody or visitation of a minor child. The parenting plan specifies the allocation of parenting responsibilities and establishes a parenting time schedule. The bill also provides that a court shall determine whether a proposed parenting plan is in the best interests of the child before approving the plan. If the parents cannot reach an agreement as to a plan, the court shall proceed to determine custody and visitation. Read the Bill »
