Description

Exceptions to immunity of physicians; nurse practitioner or physician assistant orders test. Adds to the exceptions to physician immunity for laboratory tests the physician did not order tests that were ordered by a nurse practitioner or physician assistant with whom he or another physician in his office had established a relationship with in writing. Such physician must have been provided the results of the test and failed to provide the same to the nurse practitioner or physician assistant for the exception to apply. Read the Bill »
