Description

Marijuana field test as evidence. Provides that in any case in which a person is accused of possession of marijuana, he or his attorney of record may request a full chemical analysis of the alleged plant material by motion (i) within 60 days after arrest or, (ii) for good cause shown, at any time prior to trial, before the court in which the charge is pending. Without such request, a field analysis of the material is deemed sufficient evidence. Currently, such request is available (without the requirement of good cause shown) at any time prior to trial.
