Description

Virginia National Guard; employment protection. Extends the employment protections for service in state duty to service under Title 32 of the United States Code. Upon return to duty, a guardsman would have 14 days to make written application to his previous employer for reemployment. The Code currently requires such application to be made within five days. In addition, the bill would add attorney fees and costs to the damages recoverable for violation of these employment provisions. Read the Bill »
