Requirement that pharmacist sell and dispense drugs. Requires a licensed pharmacy to sell and dispense drugs and devices regardless of any owners' or employees' religious or other personal beliefs. Requires that where a drug or device is not in stock at a pharmacy, a pharmacy shall (i) attempt to obtain the drug or device pursuant to standard reordering procedures or (ii) attempt to locate the drug or device at a pharmacy of the patient's choice and, if the drug or device is by prescription, transfer the prescription to that pharmacy. Creates an exception where there is a valid medical reason to refuse to sell or dispense a drug or device. Read the Bill »
