Constitutional amendment (first reference); homestead exemption from property taxation. Provides that the General Assembly may authorize by general law for a homestead exemption for up to 20 percent of the median sales price of homes on lots not exceeding one acre during the immediately preceding year for each homestead actually occupied as the primary permanent residence of a resident of the Commonwealth.
