Description

Forensic laboratory services; private police departments. Requires the Department of Forensic Science to provide forensic laboratory services upon request of any private police department employing special conservators of the peace. Private police departments currently have to go through a public law-enforcement agency to submit evidence to the lab. Amends § 9.1-1101, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
