Description

Vehicle safety inspection; members of the armed services. Extends time required to obtain a current vehicle inspection sticker for vehicles that return to or become operational in the Commonwealth from 24 to 72 hours for those vehicles whose registered owners are in the armed services; no penalty shall be imposed on such owners after the expiration of the vehicle inspection sticker for operation of the vehicle in the Commonwealth for a period of less than seven hours from point of entry to point of exit and if such operation is to facilitate interstate travel due to military orders, family emergency, or family bereavement.
