Description

Sales and use tax increase for highway maintenance. Increases the state sales and use tax from four percent to four and one-half percent beginning February 1, 2009, provided that the increase is approved by the voters in a referendum to be held at the election on Tuesday, November 4, 2008. The additional revenue from the increase is to be used solely for maintaining the roads in the Commonwealth statewide. Read the Bill »
