Dan Kachur writes:

Oh, no! The brown people might vote!

Just another of a long line of attempts to disenfranchise voters. This is shameful. Not that Sideshow Bob knows any shame.

Mosquito writes:

A horrendous bill. This will disenfranchise legitimate voters, especially low income voters.

Marshall lets his fears dismantle our democracy.

This bill does more harm than good.
Buzz...Buzz

Greg Epps writes:

Ok, Mosquito and Dan... HOW does this disenfranchise legitimate voters? Specifically, Mosquito, how is a low income voter disenfranchised by proving thier citizenship?
I'm not trying to start an argument or debate, I really don't understand your arguments (though I've heard them thousands of times before for similar bills) and I want to know more.

Mary Steele writes:

This is the right way to go. Everybody should already have a legal ID.

This will definitely help send illegals out of this country, it will allow us to route out the ones that will stay anyway, that intends to do us harm. It will also lessen the chance to become a victim of identity theft.

We can come up with assistance to those who cannot afford to or need help with getting their documents.
