Description
Healthy marriages and strong families. Authorizes the Department of Social Services to establish a program to support educational programs intended to promote healthy marriages and strong families. The bill requires that, to the extent authorized by federal law, the Department shall allocate at least one percent of all funds received under the federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families program to support this program. How about "upon application for ANY public assistance or social services, applicants must ENROLL in parenting and financing classes..certificate to be provided for 'approval' to obtain public services or social services..."
