Description
Long-range transportation plan of Hampton Roads MPO. Requires the Hampton Roads Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) to include improvements to the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel as its highest priority in its long-range transportation plan. If funds are insufficient to undertake all projects in the long-range plan, the Hampton Roads MPO must eliminate sufficient other projects from its long-range plan so that improvements to the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel may be included in the plan. In identifying projects to be removed from the plan, those projects estimated to result in the least amount of traffic congestion relief must be eliminated first. Read the Bill »
