James A. Bryan, PhD writes:

The State Corporation Commission is as important now as it was when it was established in 1903, to provide regulation for an excessively dominant industry, at that time the railroads. Now, Dominion Resources has excessive power over our environment, our economy, and our government.
We need a strong Commission; and we now need a strong and independent third Commissioner, one who is wise and strong enough to say "No" to Dominion, when reality requires a brake on Dominion's influence.
