Description
No Child Left Behind; withdrawal. Requires the Board of Education to develop a plan for the withdrawal from the federal No Child Left Behind Act, unless waivers that allow Virginia's existing educational accountability system, as set forth in the Standards of Quality, Standards of Learning, and Standards of Accreditation, to substantially meet the requirements of the Act are granted by the U.S. Department of Education. This is a great bill! Keep schools local. I must also ask what are they teaching kids with math now? there teaching them to use a 4 sqaure guessing game thing and thats supposed to tach them to divide? I dont get it, you guess a number till its right. Go back to the old ways of doing it.
