Mary Steele Yorktown VA writes:

There is one state/county that has successfully achieved approval from a federal court, over enacting state laws that curb illegal alien activity. I urge every state that wants to do right by their "legal" citizens to enact the same laws, but I hope they impose extremely high fines and mandatory jail time for the second offense. This would be a huge deterrent and lessen the need to jail and deport illegals. If they know there are no jobs or housing, they will go somewhere else.
