Description

Elections; paper and machine ballots; write-in votes. Provides that write-in votes will be counted only if the last name of the write-in candidate is spelled correctly as determined by the chief officer of election at the polling place. Ballots with misspelled names shall be void. Amends § 24.2-644, § 24.2-648, of the Code of Virginia. Read the Bill »
