Description
Constitutional amendment (first resolution); property tax exemption for certain veterans. Authorizes the General Assembly to exempt from taxation real property that is the principal residence of a veteran (or widow or widower of a veteran) if the veteran has been determined by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs or its successor agency pursuant to federal law to have a service-connected, permanent, and 100 percent total disability. This is na goodn first step hiowever it should only be considerd a first step. Memorials and grave yards do not help vets that are hungry and homeless. We need a stet Commissioner that has current ideas and not ones that help the dead. I think they should fire the entire senior staff and start again but this time find real vets that have been ther and not your buddy that wants a good paying job.
