Comments
It is essential that State Crime Commission study restorative justice not only for violent crimes but also for non-violent crimes as well. Virginia has some of the most talented leadership in the emerging field of restorative justice in the world. There are individuals and organizations who work across this country and even internationally in the field. It would be wise to be modeling best practices in this state when addressing the needs of victims, the community and all those directly involved in a criminal incident.
