Description

Prescribing authority; preventive medications for sexual assault victims. Provides that pursuant to an oral or written order or standing protocol issued by a prescriber within the course of his professional practice, such prescriber may authorize registered professional nurses trained as sexual assault nurse examiners under his supervision and when he is not physically present to possess and administer preventive medications for victims of sexual assault as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
