Description

Housing authorities; referendum. Increases the number of qualified voters in a locality needed to have a referendum creating a housing authority from at least 100 voters to at least 10 percent of the qualified voters. The bill also provides that once a referendum has been held, no other referendum on the same question shall be held in the county, city, or town within five years of the date of the prior referendum.
