Description
Adoption records. Provides that records of all adoptions shall be open and information contained in such records shall be available to birth parents, adopted parents, and adopted persons where certain criteria are met and upon a showing of good cause. This requirement currently applies to adoptions finalized on or after July 1, 1994, only. Read the Bill »

I am a birth mother whose son is now 21 and I would like the same right to search for him as he has to search for me. I support this bill and hope that it will pass because I want the same rights as birth mother’s whose children were adopted after 1994.
