Description

Charter; Town of Clarksville. Amends the current charter of the Town of Clarksville to provide all gender-neutral pronouns. Relieves the town manager of his/her duty of preparing a comprehensive report of financial transactions and administrative activities of the town during the preceding fiscal year. Repeals a provision of the charter granting council the power to both borrow funds necessary for the operation of the town affairs and to execute and deliver notes as evidence of any such debt created by money so borrowed. The town council may, by ordinance, provide that taxes or charges hereafter made, imposed, or incurred for water use within the Town of Clarksville shall be a lien on the real estate served by such waterline.
