Description

Preservation of historical sites and architectural areas. Provides that local governing bodies may include in ordinances establishing historic districts, landmarks, and other buildings or structures within the locality having an important historic, architectural, archaeological, or cultural interest, a provision setting forth a 30-day period for archaeological excavation and preservation before the commercial or residential development of a historic district or any area within the locality that has been identified with potential archaeological or historic significance.
