Description
Replacement of water by gas well operators. Requires the operator of any gas well, whether a conventional or coalbed methane well, to replace any water supply contaminated or interrupted by an operation that is within 750 feet of a water well. Surface owners must allow gas well operators to sample water from such wells. Currently, these requirements apply only to operators of coalbed methane wells and not to operators of conventional gas wells. Read the Bill »
