Description
Animal control officers; county manager form of government. Requires that the division of police in localities using the county manager form of government, currently only Henrico County, have an animal protection police officer and at least one deputy animal protection police officer. These officers shall have all of the powers vested in law-enforcement officers as defined in 9.1-101, provided they have met the minimum qualifications and have been certified under 15.2-1705 and 15.2-1706.
