Comments
Can't you break into a house and cause less than $1k in damage. Most burglars cause much less damage when they break in.
Did you actually read the proposed bill. It says that the damage was actually $14,000, and the $1,000 asked for is for the homeowner's deductible.
Sheesh.
sheesh yourself. $14K? I'm commenting on the police breaking in and doing so much damage, not the efficacy of this bill.
She is due more money. Add an additional $1,000 as a penalty. The orignial $1,000 should have been reimbursed immediately. This type of damage should never have occurred in the first place.
