Description
Neighborhood assistance tax credits; impoverished people. Changes the definition of "impoverished people" for education proposals under the Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit program from 180 percent to 200 percent of the current federal poverty guidelines. As a condition of eligibility for a neighborhood assistance tax credit, current law requires that at least 50 percent of the persons served by a neighborhood organization are impoverished people.
