Description

Capital murder; jury sentencing.  Provides for jury sentencing of a defendant who has entered a plea of guilty to capital murder. A defendant who enters a guilty plea may still be sentenced by the judge if all parties agree. This bill is a recommendation of the Virginia Criminal Justice Conference. Read the Bill »
