Description

Telecommuting; employees of agencies within the legislative branch of state government.  Requires the head of each agency within the legislative branch of state government to adopt a telecommuting and alternative work schedule policy for eligible employees. The policy shall authorize voluntary participation in telecommuting and alternative work schedule programs for up to eight days per month, provided such participation does not diminish employee performance or service delivery. The head of each legislative agency may authorize participation for more than eight days per month. No policy adopted pursuant to this Act shall authorize participation in either program during any session or special session of the General Assembly. The Capitol Police are exempt from the requirements of this Act. Read the Bill »
