Description

Board for Contractors; certification of accessibility mechanics.  Provides for the certification of accessibility mechanicsby the Board for Contractors. An accessibility mechanic is an individual who erects, constructs, installs, alters, services, repairs, tests, or maintains wheelchair lifts, incline chairlifts, certain dumb waiters, and private residence elevators, in accordance with the Uniform Statewide Building Code.
