Description

Candidates for office; nominating petitions. Requires a candidate for nomination by primary to file an additional copy of his petition signed by a number of qualified voters with the local electoral board in the locality where the candidate resides. The petition will be available to the public at the offices of the local electoral board for five days after the primary. Qualified voters signing the petition will no longer be required to provide their social security number, but will be permitted to include the last four digits of their social security number.
