Description
Offshore drilling; royalties. Apportions 80 percent of any royalties that the Commonwealth might receive from offshore drilling for natural gas and oil to the Transportation Trust Fund, and 20 percent to programs developed by the Secretary of Natural Resources to clean up the Chesapeake Bay. Delegate Comstock has made an excellent observation and a reasonable request to establish that funds shall go to Secretary of Natural Resources to clean up the Chesapeake Bay.
Thank you for cleaning up the Ches Bay.
I would suggest that 50% go to transportation and 50% go to the Chesapeake Bay.
