A BILL to require the presence of a licensed physician at all times for any certified skilled nursing beds in any state training center.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. ? 1. That the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services shall ?[ promulgate regulations requiring require ?] ?a licensed physician to be on duty at all times for any certified skilled nursing beds in any state training center as defined in ? 37.2-100 of the Code of Virginia.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services shall promulgate regulations requiring the presence of a licensed physician at all times in any state training center. For the purposes of this section, "training center" means a facility operated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services for the treatment, training, or habilitation of persons with mental retardation (intellectual disability).
