Description
Discharge of ambulatory individual following anesthesia. Requires all hospitals to develop written procedures for the discharge of individuals who have undergone procedures requiring general anesthesia or moderate or heavy sedation and who have expressed a wish to be transported from the hospital to their home or other location by public carrier or taxicab.
