Description

Virginia Fair Housing Law; concurrence of the Office of the Attorney General.  Requires the receipt of the concurrence of the Office of the Attorney General before the Fair Housing Board may make a determination of reasonable cause to believe a discriminatory housing practice has occurred. Receipt of the concurrence of the Office of the Attorney General is also required before the Fair Housing Board may issue a charge of an alleged discriminatory housing practice. Currently, consultation with the Office of the Attorney General is required for the Fair Housing Board to act. Read the Bill »
