Description
Recordation tax. Reduces the state recordation tax on deeds of trust from $0.25 per $100 of the amount financed to $0.2375 per $100 of such amount. The bill also eliminates the reduced recordation tax based on deeds of trust securing a refinanced mortgage with the same lender. Under current law, the recordation tax on deeds of trust for such refinancing applies only to the extent that the amount of the refinancing exceeds the original amount of financing. Read the Bill »
