Description
Notices from DMV; fee for exchange of license plates. Establishes certain practices relating to government efficiency, including allowing drivers license expiration notices, etc., to be sent by first-class mail or email and eliminating requirements to send notices of suspension or revocation and mandatory license clinic attendance by certified mail. The bill also imposes a $5 service charge on transactions performed at DMV Customer Service Centers if such transactions could have been completed by telephone, by mail, or electronically.
