From here in the Starchamber I have recognized that absolute power corrupts even the finest law enforcement officers and jurists. Law enforcement needs to make their case. General criminality can never justify the loss of privacy that this bill seeks to place on the unwashed citizenry. Where is Ben Franklin when you need him.
