A BILL to authorize the Department of General Services to convey certain real property to the Mennel Milling Company located in Roanoke County, Virginia.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. That the Department of General Services is hereby authorized to convey, with the approval of the Governor, a parcel of land (tax map # 087.14-03-02.05) containing 7.766 acres, more or less, to the Mennel Milling Company, in exchange for three parcels of land (tax map # 087.11-03-08 and0.87.11-03-21 and 087.11.-03-07 087.11-03-21 and 087.11-03-07 ] ) containing 6.25 acres, more or less, for use by the Virginia Department of Transportation, at no cost to VDOT, for an area maintenance headquarters to serve the southwestern portion of Roanoke County.

§ 2. The conveyance shall be made in a form approved by the Attorney General. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute, and deliver such deed and other documents as may be necessary to accomplish the conveyance.

2.  That an emergency exists and this act is in force from its passage.
