HB2202: Child support arrearage; Division of Child Support Enforcement to publish name of delinquent parent.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 63.2-1940.1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:
§ 63.2-1940.1. Publishing a delinquent parent list; coordinated arrests.
The Division of Child Support Enforcement shall, in order
to enhance enforcement, (i) publish at regular intervals a list of the
most wanted delinquent parents as determined by the Commissioner together
with arrearage information and other identifying information, including but not
limited to, a photograph, occupation, and last known address for
the purpose of locating such delinquent parents, and (ii) periodically
conduct coordinated arrests of delinquent parents in conjunction with state and
local criminal justice agencies pursuant to § 16.1-278.16.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. That § 63.2-1940.1 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted and that the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 2.2-2904.1 as follows:
§ 2.2-2904.1. State employees; nonsupport of children.
Any employee, whether full-time or part-time, permanent or temporary, may be suspended or dismissed upon conviction for criminal nonsupport of a child under §§ 20-61, 20-115, or 63.2-510.

The Division of Child Support Enforcement shall (i) publish at
regular intervals a list of the most wanted all delinquent parents as
determined by the Commissioner together with arrearage information and other
identifying information, including but not limited to, a photograph, occupation, and last known address for
the purpose of locating such delinquent parents and (ii) periodically conduct
coordinated arrests of delinquent parents in conjunction with state and local
criminal justice agencies pursuant to § 16.1-278.16.
