Description
Health insurance; early intervention services; autism. Prohibits an insurer that provides coverage for early intervention services from denying coverage for medically necessary speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, applied behavior analysis, and assistive technology services and devices because a covered minor dependent has been diagnosed with autism.
