Description

Memorializing Congress to amend the federal to amend the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 (P.L. 104-191). Urges Congress to restore in loco parentis at institutions of higher education and to require parental notification of destructive and illegal student behaviors by amending the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) (20 U.S.C. 1232g) and the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 (P.L. 104-191).
