Description

Home food inspections.  Exempts a private home whose resident processes and prepares honey produced from hives owned by the resident from inspection by the Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services. To be exempted the person has to meet certain conditions including selling less than 250 gallons of honey annually, affixing a label to the product that says "PROCESSED AND PREPARED WITHOUT STATE INSPECTION," and annually certifying that these various conditions have been met.
