Description

Constitutional amendment (voter referendum); tax exemptions.  Provides for a referendum at the November 2, 2010, election to approve or reject an amendment allowing the General Assembly to authorize legislation that permits localities to exempt or partially exempt certain energy and resource efficient equipment, facilities, or devices from real or personal property taxes. The present Constitution allows exemptions for pollution abatement and solar energy equipment. Read the Bill »
