Description

Community services boards; access to medication assisted treatment.  Requires every community services board to provide access to medication assisted treatment for substance abuse to all persons for whom such treatment is appropriate by (i) employing a person authorized to provide medication assisted treatment, or (ii) entering into a written agreement for the provision of medication assisted treatment for clients of the community service board with a health care practitioner authorized to provide medication assisted treatment. This bill provides that a community services board may pay all or part of the cost of medication assisted treatment for clients of the board but shall not be required to do so. Read the Bill »
