Description

Study; Virginia Institute of Marine Science and the Virginia Marine Resources Commission to establish a panel to study subaqueous bottomland in Virginia; report.  Requests the Virginia Institute of Marine Science and the Virginia Marine Resources Commission to establish a panel of at least seven persons to study how the subaqueous bottomland on the seaside of Virginias Eastern Shore might be better utilized to (i) support the management and fishery of wild shellfish populations, (ii) promote sustainable shellfish aquaculture, and (iii) enhance habitat restoration.
