Description

Virginia Public Health Foundation; established.  Creates the Virginia Public Health Foundation in order to (i) support the development and implementation of innovative activities and creative solutions for the prevention of disease and the promotion of public health, with a particular focus on emergency preparedness and response, as well as environmental health issues including provision of safe drinking water and sanitary on-site sewage disposal; (ii) secure and distribute resources in support of core public health functions and essential services; and (iii) support the mission and goals of the Department of Health.
