Description

Workers' Compensation Commission.  Provides that a majority of the members of the Workers' Compensation Commission constitutes a quorum for purposes of exercising the judicial, legislative, and discretionary functions of the Commission, regardless of whether there is a vacancy on the Commission. The measure also provides that a quorum is not necessary for the exercise of the Commission's administrative functions. The existing requirement that the chairman of the Commission appoint a deputy commissioner to participate in a review when all Commissioners are unable to hear the review is revised to make such appointment optional.
