Description

Uniform Statewide Building Code.  Requires the Board of Housing and Community Development to revise the Uniform Statewide Building Code to require a two-year time limit on the duration of a building permit issued for the completion of new construction of detached single-family dwellings, additions to detached single-family dwellings, or residential accessory structures. Under the current Building Code, the time limit is three years for such dwellings and structures. Read the Bill »
